Position: Community Cat Program Coordinator - Four Directions

Reports to: Community Cat Program & Kitten Nursery Supervisor

Location: Kanab, Utah

Do you love cats even when you can't pet them? Do you want to help save their lives through trap/neuter/return? We're looking for someone with experience, professionalism, a great attitude and a lot of love to give to community cats in the southern Utah and northern Arizona area. You'll be in charge of trapping cats who need to be spayed and neutered, driving them to clinics for their operations, and returning them once they've recovered. It's the most humane and most effective way of reducing the number of outdoor cats and giving them a better quality of life. Of course, there'll all be kinds of odds and ends you'll need to look after, including keeping the traps in good, working order, staying on top of schedules, and relating comfortably with people in the cats' neighborhoods. You'll need to be very reliable and work independently. But also be a part of Best Friends and our mission, representing us with warmth and knowledge when speaking to others in the community about this important work. This might be exactly the job you were meant to do.
